I was seventeen years old when I took my driving course. Me and my two friends from my school had a number of classes in a driving school nearby where we had a chance to learn everything what a candidate for a driver should know. Then there were no computer tests and everything was done in papers. When I was finally informed about the date of my theory test, I really started preparing myself. I used a lot of study materials as well as sample theory tests. I learned all answers by heart and I was sure I was well prepared. We also had very good and patient instructors and lecturers. But when I entered the examination room and when I was given my papers, I was so nervous that I forgot what I had been learning for such a long time. I had a feeling this was the first time I had seen these questions. Of course I started panicking, which is what I usually do in such situations. Unfortunately, I had too many mistakes in my theory test and I had to retake it. I remember how angry I was because all my friends had more luck than I had and could start thinking about the practical part of the test. It took some time before I finally passed my theory test. But when I finally did, I was very happy. After a month or so I got my first car and I was able to drive on my own.
